Frank Nowell
Frank Nowell, founder and Artistic Director of Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado, is active as a harpsichordist, organist, and specialist in music of the 17th and 18th centuries. He co-funded the early-music ensemble Diverse Passions and founded and Directed the Denver Handel Festival.
Mr. Nowell is a frequent guest artist as a soloist and continuo player, including recent appearances with the Boston Early Music Festival Fringe, Boulder Bach Festival, Up Close and Musical, and the Colorado Music Festival.
He is organist at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Denver and has recorded as an organist on the Cygnus label.
Mr. Nowell received the Master of Music degree from University of Colorado and the Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Princeton University.
